Lara finds the first of four mandalas but gets imprisoned in a white orb.

The orb Lara is trapped in turns out to be a pearl in the necklace of a buddhist monk, who manages to save her. Lara finds out the thief she's after is her childhood role model.

Lara wakes up in the netherworld and finds herself in the hands of a pharaoh whose tomb she raided years ago.

Lara continues to fight the pharaoh, plus his "ba", Horus and Isis. Talk about impossible odds.

After "killing" both the pharaoh and his "ba", Lara is thrown out of the underworld by an Egyptian goddess and comes back to life.

Lord Vymes, who holds the monk who was supposedly (surprise!) killed in Tomb Raider #24 prisoner, sends Lara out on a quest to obtain the waters of life and death.

Lara finds the waters of life and death and uses them to destroy Lord Vymes/ Vayamasa once and for all (hopefully).

Lara travels to South America and rescues a Native tribe from slavery, actually fighting the Conquistadores' offspring.

Lara fights some thugs and discovers a painting. Nothing at all like the game, here Von Croy even orders an assassin to kill Lara.

Von Croy gets shot in front of Lara's eyes, and Kurtis Trent appears for the first time.
